Misrata | On Saturday, October 10, 2026, the Research and Consulting Center at Misrata University organized its third international conference entitled “Innovation and Sustainable Development”, under the slogan “Sustainable Innovation… Smart Transformation… Secure Future”, with the participation of a select group of researchers and academics, and the attendance of a number of official figures, including the Minister of State for the Affairs of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers.
The conference featured discussions of 61 scientific papers across 12 sessions, with both in-person and remote participation. These papers addressed diverse topics in the technical, economic, social, environmental, and information technology fields, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and expertise and the discussion of ideas and visions that support innovation and sustainable development.
The conference concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at strengthening the role of scientific research in addressing developmental challenges, leveraging innovation and modern technologies to serve society, and expanding cooperation between academic institutions and various sectors.
ويأتي تنظيم هذا المؤتمر في إطار جهود مركز البحوث والاستشارات بجامعة مصراتة لتعزيز الحراك العلمي، وربط مخرجات البحث العلمي باحتياجات المجتمع وأولويات التنمية، وتوفير منصات للحوار وتبادل الخبرات بما يسهم في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة.
