Misrata | September 29, 2026 - Misrata University participated yesterday, Monday, in the academic dialogue organized by Al-Zawiya University entitled “Quality Assurance in Libyan Education: Reality, Challenges and Future Prospects”, at the headquarters of the International Cooperation Office at Al-Zawiya University, in the presence of a number of academic leaders, faculty members, researchers and those interested in educational affairs.
Misrata University was represented at the dialogue by the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Director of the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office. The dialogue addressed the current state of quality assurance in Libyan educational institutions, the challenges associated with implementing quality and accreditation standards, and mechanisms for developing academic and institutional performance and raising the level of higher education.

The university`s participation reflects its commitment to strengthening academic cooperation and exchanging expertise and experiences among higher education institutions, and to supporting efforts aimed at establishing a culture of quality and accreditation and developing the higher education system in Libya.
