Misrata | September 30, 2026 – The Faculty Affairs Committee at Misrata University held its first regular meeting of the 2026/2027 academic year on Wednesday to discuss several topics and requests related to the academic and administrative affairs of faculty members.
The meeting addressed responses received regarding academic promotions, applications for academic promotion submitted by faculty members, requests for academic adjustments, and requests to change the status from teaching assistant to faculty member.
The committee also discussed procedures for contracting with Libyan faculty members, transfer requests submitted by faculty members, and several other business.
The meeting was held as part of ongoing efforts to monitor and streamline procedures related to faculty members and to support the smooth operation of academic and administrative processes at the university.
