Tripoli | Dr. Mufid Khalifa Al-Bakbak, Director of the Faculty Affairs Department at Misrata University, participated on Monday, October 5, 2026, in a meeting held by the University Affairs Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, with representatives from 21 Libyan universities.

The meeting discussed several issues related to faculty members, including teaching load, academic promotions, the situation of expatriate faculty, appointments and settlements, as well as mechanisms for coordination and standardization of procedures between the University Affairs Department and Libyan universities.
