Misrata | February 12, 2026 - The Faculty Affairs Committee at Misrata University held its tenth regular meeting today, Thursday, to discuss a number of academic and administrative files related to the affairs of the university`s faculty members.
The committee began its meeting by reviewing the minutes of the previous meeting, considering the grievance requests submitted by faculty members, in addition to discussing requests for academic promotions in accordance with the approved regulations and controls.
The meeting also addressed academic settlement files, changing job status from teaching assistant to faculty member, in addition to discussing procedures for contracting with expatriate faculty members, within the framework of supporting the academic staff and enhancing the educational process.
During the meeting, the committee affirmed its commitment to implementing the regulations and laws governing faculty affairs, ensuring their rights and enhancing the quality of academic and research performance at the university.
