The International Cooperation Office at Misrata University is organizing an introductory workshop on the +50 program.

Misurata | January 22, 2026 – An introductory workshop on professional qualification opportunities in the fields of energy and investment was held today, Thursday, at the Industrial Auditorium of the Faculty of Engineering. The workshop saw a diverse turnout of target groups, including final-year students and graduates specializing in Engineering, Computer Science, Law, and relevant Financial and Administrative Sciences.

The workshop opened with a welcoming speech by Dr. Salem Fathi Al-Shaltat, Director of the International Cooperation Office, in which he outlined the strategic objectives of the event and the office`s role in supporting students and providing opportunities and scholarships. The event featured several sessions presented by professors and industry specialists, focusing on an initiative to bridge the gap between graduates and the international labor market through the "Graduate Development Program (+50)" (GDP) affiliated with The Arab Energy Fund (TAEF).

This program offers 20 weeks of intensive professional training in the finance, energy, and investment sectors. The workshop provided detailed explanations regarding the program`s benefits, admission requirements (including GPA, age, and language proficiency), as well as the application mechanism and registration steps.

The event concluded with an open discussion panel moderated by a group of academics and specialists. The session was dedicated to answering attendees` inquiries and aimed to boost students` aspirations and open new career horizons within prestigious regional and international institutions.
