
Misrata | Monday, January 5, 2026 - The Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office at Misrata University organized a workshop this morning entitled “The University’s Crisis and Risk Management Plan,” presented by the office director, in the presence of the deans of the faculties of Islamic Studies, Pharmacy, Human Medicine, Information Technology, and Arts and Media.
The workshop included a scientific and professional presentation of the concept of risks and crises, and the mechanisms for managing them within educational institutions, in addition to reviewing the steps for preparing and implementing response plans, their objectives and their importance in protecting the educational and research process and ensuring its continuity in various circumstances.
The workshop also focused on the role of digital transformation and e-learning in activating crisis and risk management plans, which contributes to enhancing institutional readiness and ensuring the continuity of academic and administrative performance efficiently and effectively.
The workshop emphasized the need to enhance institutional awareness of potential risks, develop prevention and rapid response mechanisms, and adopt strategic planning to mitigate the impact of crises, thereby ensuring the quality of education and the continuity of scientific research within Misrata University.
