Misrata | May 12, 2026 - The second scientific conference of the Faculty of Arts and Media was launched today, Tuesday, in the presence of the President of Misrata University, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, the Secretary General, the Registrar General, along with a number of deans of faculties, directors of departments and offices at the university, faculty members, and a group of academics and researchers.
The conference aims to discuss contemporary issues in the fields of media and artificial intelligence, and to highlight digital transformations and their impact on the creative industry and media discourse, through a number of scientific papers and specialized research.
The conference sessions will address several key themes, most notably media ethics in the age of artificial intelligence, the role of media in promoting social peace, and the use of modern technology in media and artistic production.

The conference is scheduled to last for two days, and will include scholarly sessions presenting peer-reviewed research and studies.
