The Faculty of Education at Misrata University has published the first volume of the proceedings of the First International Scientific Conference, "700 Years of Ibn Battuta`s Journey: A Cultural and Civilizational Legacy." This new scholarly achievement adds to the university`s record in scientific research and academic publishing, reflecting its commitment to documenting the outcomes of its scientific conferences and making them accessible to researchers and interested parties.
The publication includes a selection of peer-reviewed research papers and studies presented during the conference, which was organized by the Faculty on December 29 and 30, 2025, in partnership with the Libyan Historical Society, the League of Arab Historians in Baghdad, and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO).

It represents a significant step towards enriching studies related to cultural and civilizational heritage and reinforcing Misurata University`s mission of supporting scientific research and disseminating knowledge.
The Faculty of Education expressed its appreciation to the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) for sponsoring the printing of this scholarly work. The Faculty also clarified that the remaining three volumes of the conference proceedings will be published sequentially, with digital copies becoming available upon completion and printed copies being distributed after printing is finalized.
