Misrata | Saturday, November 29, 2025 - The Faculty of Arts at Misrata University organized a cultural lecture this morning entitled “The Legend of the Three Regions of Libya”, as part of its cultural season activities for the fall semester of 2025.
The lecture was delivered by Engineer Abdulhakim Al-Tawil, in the presence of faculty members, researchers, and a group of those interested in cultural and historical affairs.

During the session, the lecturer addressed the historical and intellectual background of the myth of dividing Libya into three regions, highlighting the impact of this perception on shaping national consciousness and contemporary interpretations of history.
The lecture witnessed remarkable interaction from the audience and concluded with discussions and questions that enriched the topic and opened new avenues for research and study.
