Misurata | October 5, 2025 – The Faculty of Arts at Misurata University held a graduation ceremony this Sunday evening for two cohorts of its students for the 2024–2025 academic year.
The event was attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Bashir Abubakr Al-Quneidi, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Secretary-General, the University Registrar, along with the Dean of the Faculty, several other college deans, office directors, heads and members of the student unions, faculty members, families of the graduates, as well as city officials and representatives of the companies and institutions sponsoring the ceremony.

The ceremony celebrated the graduation of 135 male and female students from various academic departments. The program featured speeches by the University President, the Dean of the Faculty, the Student Union of the Faculty of Arts, and the Student Union of Libya. It also included the recognition of graduates and the distribution of certificates. The speeches commended the graduates’ efforts and highlighted the Faculty’s role in preparing qualified academic cadres to contribute to community service.
The celebration concluded in an atmosphere of pride and honor, as this graduating class represents a valuable academic and intellectual asset added to the record of the Faculty of Arts and Misurata University, carrying the mission of advancing society and contributing to building a promising future for the nation.
