Misurata | October 2, 2025 - Dr. Salem Al-Shaltat, Director of the International Cooperation Office at Misurata University, participated in a workshop held on September 29 and 30, 2025, in Tunisia, as part of the EU4SKILLS project, to discuss the organizational framework and structure of graduate training and career guidance offices.
The workshop brought together representatives from the Libyan Ministries of Higher Education, Technical and Vocational Education, and Labor and Rehabilitation, as well as a number of Libyan universities and a team from Expertise France. Over two days, it served as a platform for exchanging expertise and reviewing regional and international experiences, particularly the experience of the 4Cs Alumni Offices in Tunisia, with the aim of adapting best practices to the Libyan context.
At the conclusion of its work, the participants agreed to prepare a practical roadmap for establishing graduate training and career guidance offices within Libyan universities and technical institutes. This will contribute to enhancing youth employment opportunities and linking educational institutions to the labor market.
