Misurata | Saturday, September 27, 2025 - An introductory forum for new students enrolled in the preparatory stage for medical colleges was held this morning in the Bashir Al-Saadawi Auditorium at the Faculty of Education - University of Misurata, in the presence of the Chairman of the Higher Committee for the Preparatory Stage, Professor Dr. Abdul-Wahab Al-Sallabi - Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Coordinator of the Preparatory Stage Professor Khaled Al-Madham, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Hisham Budbus, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Professor Dr. Al-Zarouk Abdel Hamid, and Professor Ibrahim Shaqlouf, Registrar General of the University.
The forum began with a speech by the preparatory stage supervisor, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the preparatory year`s study system, its duration, the number of semesters, and the mechanism for students to advance to the next stages after completing it. Members of the Higher Committee also delivered guiding remarks to the students, while Dr. Hisham Budabous reviewed the stages of study at the College of Medicine in detail, emphasizing the college`s commitment to providing the necessary academic and student support.
The program included an introduction to university regulations and laws, as well as those specific to the preparatory stage, in addition to the curricula and academic regulations in effect.
The forum comes within the framework of Misrata University`s commitment to preparing its new students and informing them of the nature of their studies and their requirements, ensuring a successful academic start.
