Misurata University will be included in the QS Arab Region University Rankings 2026, which will be announced in the Sultanate of Oman on October 15–16, 2025. This prestigious ranking is considered one of the most important global indicators for measuring the quality of higher education and scientific research at the regional and international levels.
It is worth noting that the QS rankings evaluate universities based on a set of precise criteria, such as academic reputation, the efficiency of research output, graduate employment, international collaboration, faculty quality, and the infrastructure supporting education.

Professor Bashir Abu Bakr Al-Qunaidi, President of Misurata University, received an official invitation from the QS World University Rankings to participate in the QS Arab Forum 2025, scheduled to be held in the Sultanate of Oman from October 15-16, 2025, to announce this ranking.
