Misurata | On Thursday, September 25, 2025, Misurata University welcomed the President of the Libyan Sociological Association and his accompanying delegation. They were received by the University President and the Vice President for Academic Affairs as part of an inspection visit to the Faculty of Arts to review the ongoing preparations for the Association’s Fourth Scientific Conference, scheduled to be held on December 27–28, 2025, under the theme:
“The Population Issue in Libya: A Multi-Dimensional Sociological Approach.”

The visit included an exploratory tour of the Faculty’s facilities, covering lecture halls and academic departments, as well as meetings with the Faculty’s administration and faculty members to discuss ways to ensure the success of the conference and secure broad participation from researchers and interested stakeholders.

During the meeting, the Association’s President emphasized the importance of partnership with Misurata University in organizing this academic event, noting that the conference serves as a scientific platform for addressing current population and social issues and for offering approaches that can help support decision-makers.

This visit comes as part of the Association’s direct follow-up to create favorable conditions for the success of its Fourth Scientific Conference and to strengthen the role of Libyan universities in addressing societal and developmental issues.
