Misrata | November 19, 2025 - The seventh regular meeting of the heads of quality and performance evaluation departments at the faculties of Misrata University was held today, Wednesday, at the university headquarters.
The meeting discussed a number of important items aimed at enhancing the performance of the quality system within the university. The status of quality, institutional accreditation and program accreditation in the various colleges was reviewed, in addition to identifying the most prominent requirements and challenges facing development and accreditation processes during the current stage.
The meeting also addressed monitoring the quality of college outputs through mechanisms for communicating with graduates and updating their databases, which contributes to evaluating their competence in the labor market and benefiting from their opinions in developing academic programs.
Those present stressed the importance of activating curriculum development committees within colleges, and working to update study programs in line with quality standards and to meet the needs of the labor market.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was agreed to continue holding periodic meetings and to strengthen cooperation between the quality assurance units in the colleges, in order to support the achievement of the university`s strategic goals in the field of quality and academic accreditation.
