Misurata | September 6, 2025 – The Graduate Studies Committee convened today, Saturday, in the main meeting hall at Misurata University, attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Bashir Abubakr Al-Qunaidi, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Mohammed Dugman, and the Director of the Graduate Studies and Training Office at the University, Dr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Sall. The meeting also hosted Dr. Atiyah Al-Arbash, Director of Graduate Studies at the Ministry of Higher Education, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Shurkasi, Director of Planning at the Ministry, alongside committee members.

The meeting discussed the development of graduate programs, the status of teaching assistants, as well as administrative and academic challenges, with a focus on supporting academic programs, improving output quality, and facilitating procedures.

The attendees emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the University and the Ministry of Higher Education to activate development plans, enhance the efficiency of academic staff, expand scholarship opportunities, and support scientific research.

The meeting concluded with agreed recommendations aimed at overcoming obstacles and improving performance to serve the University’s aspirations in advancing graduate studies.
