Misurata | June 11, 2025 - On Wednesday morning, the Faculty of Engineering at Misurata University received a technical audit team from the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions. The team was part of the technical evaluation of the Communications Engineering PhD program. The team was received by the University Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director of the Graduate Studies Office, the Director of the University Quality Office, and the Dean of the Faculty.
The visit began with a meeting during which the college dean gave a detailed presentation on the program, including its objectives, alignment with labor market requirements, national and international standards, and supporting capabilities. The head of the technical audit team also reviewed the steps and mechanisms for technical evaluation and licensing requirements.
The visit concluded with a field tour of the program`s academic facilities, including laboratories, classrooms, and the library. The visit also included a review of academic files and program plans. This visit is a pivotal step toward obtaining a technical license, which will strengthen Misrata University`s position in higher education and scientific research.
