The Faculty of Medicine – Misurata University Submitted Application Files for Receiving Institutional Accreditation to the National Center for Quality Control of Educational and training Institutions

Following in the footsteps of the faculties of Arts and Economics that deservedly received institutional accreditation, and with a view to catching up with the rapid achievement the faculty of Architicture made by submitting their full application files for receiving institutional accreditation, the faculty of medicine – Misurata University submitted all the required files to the National Center for Quality Control of Educational and Training Institutions in Tripoli on Monday June 27, 2021 at the meeting hall in the National Center for Quality Control of Educational and Training institutions hoping that the faculty will deservedly receive institutional accreditation.
The application files were submitted in the presence of Dr. Abdullah Abduljaleel, director of the National Center for Quality Assurance of Educational and Training Institutions and Dr. Abdulmajeed Altayeb Shaaban, director of accreditation department at the center, and Dr. Salem Alfard, director of quality assurance department, and Dr. Mohammed Almadany, director of the office of Planning and development at the center.
Additionally, the ceremony was attended by a number of personalities from Misurata University, including Dr. Ramadan Abugedeeda, Adviser to Misurata University President on accreditation issues, Mr. abd Algader Abujlala, director of the office of Quality Assurance and evaluation at the university, Dr. Khaled Alzargany, dean of the faculty of Medicine, Dr. Maryam Esmail, director of the department of quality assyrance in the faculty of Medicine, Mr. Khaled Hamdan, director of administrative affairs in the faculty, and Dr. Khaled Abudabbous, director of the office of Teaching Staff Affairs in the faculty.

The application files submitted by the faculty included:

2 The educational academic program.
3 Internal regulations of the faculty.
4 Supplementary Training regulations “ internship”
5 Department directory
6 Library directory
7 Faculty members and teaching assistants directory.
8 Student directory.
9 Graduate directory.
10 Staff directory.
11 Student activity directory.

During the ceremony, Dr. Abdullah Abduljaleel, director of the National Center for Quality Assurance of Educational and Training Institutions expressed his gratitude to the sustained efforts made by Misurata University in furtherance of Education, and its invaluable tireless work in its departments and faculties for receiving institutional accreditation for all the faculties. Dr. Abduljaleel expressed his sincere thanks to Misurata University for its ongoing tireless work towards the success of the educational process, congratulating the faculty of Medicine, the quality committees, and all their members for this great prompt achievement of submitting application files to obtain institutional accreditation. As a matter of fact, the faculty of medicine – Misurata University is considered the second Medicine faculty to submit its full files, as the first is the faculty of Medicine – Tripoli University.
Members who represent the National Center for Quality Assurance of Educational and Training Institutes expressed their delight for the great step towards development the faculty of Medicine took by submitting application files to obtain institutional accreditation, and showed their sincere appreciation for the support Misurata University gives, represented by Dr. Faraj Ali Abushaala that has spared no effort in furtherance of the educational process in the faculty, as well as his tremendous titreless work for promoting the faculty at all levels.
In addition, Dr. Khaled Alzergany, dean of the faculty of Medicine expressed his deep appreciation and gratitude to all the members of the National Center for Quality Assurance of Educational and training Institutes for their warm and generous hospitality, highlighting his appreciation for all the efforts put into the promotion of high education in Libya.
During the ceremony, Dr. Faraj Ali Abushaala, president of Misurata University expressed his thanks to the National center for Quality Assurance of Educational and Training Institutes for their dedication and continuous support to all the faculties of the university aiming at helping them cover the requirements of accreditation and submit their application files as promptly as possible to receive Institutional accreditation for all the faculties of the university.
We wish all the best for the faculty of Medicine and would like to express our sincere appreciation for the outstanding achievement they made by submitting their application files in record time. Indeed, we would love to take this opportunity to show our support to the other faculties of the university in furtherance of working at a faster pace and putting more effort into submitting the full application files to the National Center.
In the end, congratulations to the faculty of Medicine, and we wish them the best of luck and success in the future, and most importantly, we hope they receive institutional accreditation and even work further to cover the requirements , apply for, and receive program accreditation with a view to promoting the faculty and being up-to-date with world developments in higher education.
