Misrata | April 30, 2026 - The Faculty Affairs Committee at Misrata University held its fourteenth regular meeting today, Thursday, to discuss several matters related to the university`s faculty members.
The committee began its meeting by reviewing and approving the minutes of its thirteenth regular meeting, before considering responses regarding academic promotions and discussing promotion applications submitted by faculty members in accordance with the applicable regulations and procedures.
The meeting also addressed transfer requests, academic and professional settlement requests, and requests to change job titles from teaching assistant to faculty member. Furthermore, the committee discussed procedures for contracting new faculty members to support the academic staff and enhance the educational process at the university.
During the meeting, the committee affirmed its commitment to continuing to review the submitted files in accordance with legal frameworks and approved regulations, contributing to the development of academic performance and the advancement of the educational and research process within the university.
