Misrata | July 12, 2026 – The Faculty Affairs Committee at Misrata University held its nineteenth regular meeting today, Sunday, to discuss several academic and administrative matters related to the university`s faculty members.
The committee began its work by reviewing responses received from evaluation committees and considered applications for sabbatical leave for faculty members for the 2026/2027 academic year, taking the necessary actions in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
The meeting addressed several academic promotion and settlement files, in addition to reviewing requests to change the status from teaching assistant to faculty member, and discussing requests to contract faculty members according to the needs of the various colleges.
The committee also reviewed submitted appeals, and the meeting concluded with a review of the transfer requests presented to it, and the necessary decisions were made regarding them.
