Misrata | June 25, 2026 - The Faculty Affairs Committee at Misrata University held its seventeenth regular meeting today, Thursday, to discuss a number of academic and administrative issues related to the university`s faculty members.
The committee began its work by reviewing and approving the minutes of its sixteenth meeting held on June 11, 2026, and considered the responses received regarding the academic promotions of faculty members, in addition to studying the submitted academic promotion requests and taking the necessary actions regarding them in accordance with the applicable regulations and controls.
The meeting addressed academic settlement files, reviewed requests to change the status from teaching assistant to faculty member, and discussed contracting with a number of faculty members according to the needs of the various colleges.

The committee also reviewed several submitted grievances, and the meeting concluded with a review of the transfer and secondment requests presented to it.
