Misrata | The Faculty Affairs Committee at Misrata University held its sixteenth regular meeting on Thursday, June 11, 2026, chaired by the committee chair and attended by its members, to discuss several matters related to the academic affairs of the university`s faculty members.
The committee began its meeting by reviewing the minutes of its fifteenth meeting, held on May 24, 2026, which were approved after reviewing the recommendations contained therein.
The committee also reviewed responses regarding faculty promotions, in addition to examining several promotion applications submitted by various colleges, in accordance with applicable regulations and bylaws.
The meeting also addressed academic settlement files, requests to change status from teaching assistant to faculty member, and discussed contracting with faculty members to meet the needs of the academic colleges.
The committee concluded its work by reviewing several appeals referred to it and taking the necessary actions in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.
