Misrata | The International Cooperation Office at Misrata University organized a workshop yesterday, Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Faculty of Human Medicine, entitled "Prospects for International Cooperation and Academic Exchange at Misrata University: Towards Openness to International Opportunities." The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members, staff, students, and those interested in international cooperation.
The workshop aimed to introduce the most prominent opportunities for international academic cooperation and raise awareness of the programs and initiatives offered by international partnerships, thereby contributing to the university`s progress towards academic openness and enhancing its international presence.
The workshop included presentations on international academic exchange programs, mechanisms for adopting the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), opportunities to participate in the Erasmus+ program, an introduction to competitive international scholarships, and strategies for preparing successful competitive applications.
The workshop concluded with an open discussion session, providing participants with the opportunity to ask questions and discuss various issues related to international cooperation and academic exchange, with the aim of strengthening communication and promoting a culture of utilizing international opportunities available to university affiliates.
