
Misrata | On Tuesday morning, July 7, 2026, the audit team from the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions began its field visit to the Faculty of Information Technology at Misrata University, as part of the faculty`s procedures for obtaining institutional accreditation.
The visit commenced with an opening meeting that included the university`s Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Director of the University`s Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office, the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, heads of academic departments, office directors, and standards officers at the faculty, in addition to the audit team. The meeting reviewed the objectives and focus of the visit, discussed the institutional accreditation file, and assessed the efforts of the faculty and the university in meeting quality requirements according to the approved national standards.
The visit is scheduled to continue until July 9, 2026, and will include meetings with various members of the college community, a tour of educational and administrative facilities, and a review of documents and evidence related to institutional accreditation standards to verify the college`s compliance with accreditation requirements.
