Misrata | The peer-reviewed scientific journals issued by the faculties of Misrata University achieved a distinguished presence in the ranking of Libyan scientific journals for the first half of 2026, issued by the National Program for the Development of Local Scientific Journals at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in confirmation of the university’s continuous efforts to develop the scientific publishing system and improve the quality of its academic journals.
The ranking included the International Journal of Engineering and Information Technology from the Faculty of Engineering, the Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences from the Faculty of Science, the Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Education, the Journal of Economic and Business Studies from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science, the Journal of the Faculty of Arts and Media, the Journal of the Faculty of Arts, the North-South Journal published by the French Department at the Faculty of Arts, the Journal of Legal Research from the Faculty of Law, and the Journal of Sustainable Research in the Humanities published by the Research and Consulting Center at Misurata University, in addition to the Satellite Journal.
This inclusion reflects Misurata University`s commitment to enhancing the quality of scientific publishing and developing its peer-reviewed journals according to approved national standards, thereby contributing to supporting scientific research and elevating the university`s academic and research standing.
