Misrata | The Faculty Affairs Committee at Misrata University held its eighth regular meeting on Thursday, January 15, 2026, to discuss a number of items on the agenda related to faculty affairs and the academic work at the university.
The committee began its meeting by reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting held on December 23, 2025, and then discussed the academic promotion files of faculty members, in addition to reviewing the responses received from the scientific research evaluation committees and what they contained.
The meeting also addressed the issue of academic and scientific settlements, and discussed transfer requests submitted by faculty members in accordance with the applicable regulations and controls, taking into account the interest of the educational process and the needs of the scientific departments.
The meeting concluded with a discussion of any new developments regarding certain executive and organizational procedures for the committee`s work, reaffirming the committee`s commitment to monitoring faculty affairs, enhancing the quality of academic performance, and supporting institutional development at Misrata University.
