Misrata | The Quality and Performance Evaluation Department at the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Misrata University, in cooperation with the Research and Consulting Department and the Student Union Office at the Faculty, organized a scientific lecture on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, entitled: “Publishing in Scientific Journals: Specifications and Conditions”, in the Al-Toumi Al-Shaibani Auditorium.
The lecture was presented by Dr. Miftah Ajaia, in the presence of a number of faculty members, graduate students, researchers and those interested in academic affairs, as part of the college’s efforts to promote a culture of scientific research and improve the quality of its outputs.
The lecture addressed the most important requirements for scientific publication in peer-reviewed journals, the standards adopted for accepting research, in addition to reviewing the most important practical guidelines that help researchers prepare their research according to scientific principles, which contributes to increasing the chances of its publication in reputable journals.
The lecture also witnessed significant interaction from the attendees through discussions and contributions that focused on the challenges researchers face in the publishing process and ways to overcome them according to established academic standards.

This event is part of a series of scientific activities implemented by the college to support researchers and enhance their skills in the fields of research and scientific publishing.
