Misrata | Tuesday, November 25, 2025 - The Faculty Affairs Committee at Misrata University held its fifth regular meeting to discuss a number of items on the agenda related to the academic work and faculty affairs.
The committee began its meeting by reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting held on November 11, 2025, and then moved on to discussing the scientific promotion files submitted by faculty members, in addition to reviewing the responses received from the scientific research evaluation committees and the observations they contained.
The committee also discussed in its meeting the file of academic and scientific settlements, in addition to reviewing appointment files that included changing the status from teaching assistant to faculty member and contracting with new faculty members according to the needs of the colleges, in addition to considering a number of grievances and issues presented.
The meeting concluded with an affirmation of the committee`s commitment to continuing its work in a manner that serves the best interests of the university and its faculty members, and contributes to strengthening the academic and institutional development of Misrata University.
