Misurata | December 31, 2025 – The activities of the second day of the First International Scientific Conference continued today under the theme: "700 Years.. Ibn Battuta’s Journey: A Cultural and Civilizational Legacy," with extensive participation from a distinguished group of academics and researchers from various local and international universities.
The research papers presented during the sessions focused on analyzing the historical and geographical routes of Ibn Battuta’s journey, exploring its profound impact on cultural and civilizational exchange between nations. Participants from Libya, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and Palestine presented in-depth studies covering manuscripts, literature, and geospatial sciences related to this historic odyssey.
The event concluded with the announcement of the final communiqué and conference recommendations. Certificates of appreciation were distributed to the organizing and supervising committees in recognition of their outstanding efforts, which contributed to the success of this prestigious event, further paving the way for future scientific gatherings that enrich the academic landscape.
