Misrata - The Faculty Affairs Committee at Misrata University held its seventh regular meeting on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, to discuss a number of items on the agenda related to the academic work and faculty affairs at the university.
The committee began its meeting by reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting held on December 9, 2025. It then discussed the academic promotion files submitted by faculty members, in addition to reviewing the responses received from the scientific research evaluation committees and the observations they contained.
The meeting also addressed the issue of academic and scientific settlements, and discussed appointment procedures, including changing the status from teaching assistant to faculty member, contracting with a number of new faculty members, in addition to discussing contracting with expatriate faculty members in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The meeting concluded with a discussion of any new business, reaffirming the committee`s commitment to monitoring faculty affairs and enhancing the quality of academic performance, thereby contributing to the institutional development of Misrata University.
