Misrata | Saturday, October 11, 2025 - This morning, the city of Misrata hosted a workshop titled "Enhancing the Interaction between Finance and Entrepreneurship," organized by the Libyan Crowdfunding Association. The workshop was attended by a wide range of financial experts, university professors, entrepreneurs, and representatives from banks and financial brokerage firms.
Misurata University`s participation in this event as a strategic partner and major supporter, along with honorary sponsorship from the Libyan Capital Market Authority and the Misurata Municipal Council, affirms the university`s ongoing commitment to supporting economic development programs, promoting a culture of entrepreneurship, and enabling young people to effectively enter the labor market.
The workshop sessions addressed a range of key topics, focusing on innovative and alternative financing mechanisms and their role in empowering entrepreneurial projects and startups. They also explored ways to strengthen partnerships between higher education institutions and the financial sector to build an integrated economic system that contributes to achieving sustainable growth for the national economy.
