Misrata | Saturday, November 22, 2025 - The Faculty of Law at Misrata University organized this morning a scientific dialogue entitled "Divorce between Right and Mercy," as part of its programs aimed at promoting legal and social awareness and discussing family issues from a perspective that balances Sharia texts and humanitarian considerations.
The dialogue witnessed the participation of a number of faculty members, lawyers, those interested in legal affairs, and social workers, where the speakers addressed the dimensions of divorce in terms of legal practice, and the role of social and human values ​​in mitigating its effects on the family and society.
This event is part of the Faculty of Law`s efforts to enrich academic discussion on family-related topics and highlight the importance of balanced approaches that respect rights and promote compassion in marital relationships.
