Misurata | Tuesday, October 21, 2025 - The Faculty of Engineering at Misurata University received a delegation from the Libyan Society for Navigation and Marine Sciences this morning. The visit aimed to explore academic and research cooperation and enhance partnerships in the fields of marine engineering and marine sciences.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects for scientific cooperation and exchange of expertise, which would contribute to developing the educational process in the Department of Marine Engineering and implementing joint projects related to the marine environment and enhancing the role of scientific research in this vital field.
The two parties also agreed to continue coordination and intensify future visits, in preparation for the signing of an official partnership agreement that will enhance institutional cooperation and support academic development and maritime innovation programs.
This visit comes within the framework of the College of Engineering`s openness to research and development institutions and its commitment to building effective partnerships with national scientific bodies to serve the goals of knowledge and technological development in Libya.
