
Misurata | October 14, 2025 - The College of Arts and Media at Misurata University organized an introductory forum for new students for the 2025-2026 academic year yesterday, Monday. The forum aimed to facilitate students` integration into the academic environment and introduce them to the college`s academic programs and plans.
The forum was attended by the Dean of the College and the President of the College`s Student Union, along with department heads, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and a representative from the Office of Studies and Examinations. This gave students the opportunity to learn about the academic and administrative aspects of the College and interact with officials.
During the forum, Attorney Wassim Abu-Wailah provided a detailed explanation of Higher Education Regulation No. 501, outlining student rights and responsibilities, as well as study and examination procedures. This contributed to enhancing students` awareness of the regulations governing the educational process.
The forum also included introductory sessions about the college`s departments and academic programs, providing students with the opportunity to learn about various academic and administrative aspects and interact with faculty members.
College officials emphasized that organizing such forums reflects the college`s commitment to providing an integrated learning environment that encourages students to communicate effectively with their professors and academic administration from the beginning of the academic year.
