On Saturday, June 28, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering at Misurata University received an audit team from the National Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Educational and Training Institutions to review and evaluate the program accreditation requirements for the faculty`s graduate programs.
The team was received by the University`s Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs, Professor Ibrahim Daghman; the Director of the University`s Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Office, Professor Marwa Shabash; the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Al-Qunaidi Al-Zawawi; and a number of faculty members and administrative staff.
The visit included a field tour of the college`s facilities, to review the available capabilities and the extent to which the academic programs comply with program accreditation standards. The audit will continue for four days, including document evaluation and meetings with officials, faculty members, and graduate students.
This step comes as part of the college and university`s efforts to enhance academic quality and achieve excellence in graduate programs.
