Misurata | Tuesday, September 30, 2025 - The first regular meeting of the Faculty Affairs Committee (Scientific Committee) for the 2025-2026 academic year was held at Misurata University to discuss a number of issues related to the committee`s work and the organization of its tasks.
The meeting was opened by reviewing the University President’s Decision No. (451) of 2025 AD, regarding the restructuring of the Scientific Committee. The members also discussed the internal work mechanism and the distribution of tasks among the members in a way that ensures flexibility and effectiveness of performance.
The agenda included a presentation of the approved models for the Scientific Committee`s work, such as research evaluation, promotions, and transfers, in addition to studying the responses received from the Scientific Evaluation Committees and considering requests for promotion, transfer, and secondment in accordance with the governing regulations and controls.
This meeting comes as part of strengthening the role of the Scientific Committee in monitoring faculty members` affairs and ensuring the strict implementation of academic regulations, thus contributing to raising the level of research and teaching performance at the university.
