About

Laboratory sciences is a branch of medical sciences dealing with the analysis of blood, body fluids, and various tissues for the diagnosis of diseases, treatment follow-ups, and keeping people healthy.

By qualifying graduates specializing in medical laboratory sciences who have sufficient information of theoretical knowledge and scientific and practical skills that enable them to fully exercise their responsibilities in medical laboratory science

Mission

Teaching advanced-level courses, in line with the requirements of the medical laboratory sciences profession, and preparing graduates equipped with theoretical information and technical skills that achieve quality in the field of laboratory and laboratory services, and who are qualified to keep pace with future changes in the science of medical laboratories and health care systems, and the growing needs of society and the regional environment.

Goals

• Preparing highly qualified specialists in the field of medical laboratories, medical microbiology, clinical chemistry, hematology and blood banks.
• Providing the student with theoretical information and scientific and practical skills to work in the field of medical laboratories and diagnostic equipment
• Encouraging and supporting students to prepare scientific research and keep abreast of practical progress in the field of medical laboratories.
• Students' participation in community service and the development of health awareness in the field of specialization
