Good Teacher from Pre-service Teachers' Perspectives at The Faculty of Education in Misurata

Abstract... Recent studies of good teacher traits based on students' opinions have helped in developing teaching practice qualities. For this reason, this study was an attempt to identify the qualities of a good teacher from pre-service teachers' perspectives and to discover how much they possess the traits that they value. The study is of the type a qualitative research. It was conducted on fifty pre-service teachers who were asked to mention good teacher qualities and then they were asked to tick the qualities that they possess. The collected data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. A qualitative method helped to extract the qualities of a good teacher from the responses of the participants. After that, a quantitative approach was used to determine the frequency of the qualities that the participants possess. The findings showed that the participants identified five personal qualities and only one professional quality. The study took place at The Faculty of Education in Misurata city.

Abstract... The Territory of Tripoli became a subordinate to the Hafsid state since its establishment in the year 625 AH / 1227 AD, Which had an effect on political and civilized life in general, and the scientific life in particular.
The one who studies scientific life in the Territory of Tripoli during this period finds it surrounded by ambiguity, especially since the bulk of its sources in this field are books of geography and trips, and perhaps what they record in terms of observations and meetings of scholars in the cities in which they land in, their travels, so their books will thus be an eyewitness to cultural and scientific life In the environments they live in.
Historical sources and the writings of geographers and travellers have spoken of the existence of a scientific prosperity in the Territory , through their multiple signals of scientific institutions and cultural centers, contributed significantly to the emergence of many scholars and jurists who in turn developed scientific life in the Territory , which helped to improve the scientific movement through those centers and institutions.
And therefore The search will be the research will focus on three main points, namely: the factors affecting scientific life, the science centers represented in mosques, linkages, and angles, as well as introducing the most prominent scholars and jurists, which had a clear impact on the region and to what extent they contributed to the prosperity of scientific life in that period.
