About Erasmus+ EuNIT project
The Erasmus+ EuNIT project (European project desigN and management In the South MediTerranean Region), the project falls under the scope of (Capacity Building), that is supported by the European Union. It mainly aims to:
-Promote internationalization of higher education institutions in the countries of the Southern Mediterranean region, with a focus on Lebanon, Jordan and Libya.
-Enable universities in the South Mediterranean region to join a permanent international partnerships and expand its internationalization efforts, where this project should lead to increasing the participation of higher education institutions involved in the partnerships and initiatives of the European Union.
About the Training
Venue: Italy, France, Spain.
Date: April, October 2017, March 2018.
The International Cooperation Office at Misurata University opens the call for application for those interested from Misurata University in the training courses and practical work session, where the trainees will undergo three sessions as follows :
Training session in the field of EU programs (Cooperation) for three days at the University of Messina, Italy (April 2017)
Training session in the field of EU programs (Research) for three days at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France (October 2017)
Practical placement session for five days at the University of Barcelona, Spain (March 2018)
The project aims to train a team consisting of three members from each university ( two administrative profiles and one financial profile) a total of 24 trainees from eight partner universities. The selection criteria is as follows:
Trainer must be an employee at Misurata University and be able to become a member of the team for the “EU project design and management unit” of the university once it has been installed.
A good command of the English language is required, command of the French language will be considered a plus.
Candidates with experience in international exchange programs/study periods/experience working abroad will be favored.
A good command of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Excellent organisation, communication, time management skill.
The ability to think creatively and autonomously.
The ability to work across international boundaries.
Applications must be submitted before the deadline which is 25.01.2017.
-Candidates with a background in training if possible.
-Previous experience in project preparation/project management.
-Ability to work effectively in a team.
-Candidates interested in developing their career on an international level.
-Awareness of EU regulations, projects and funding opportunities.
-Ability to adapt to working on a wide range of topics/themes.
Selection Criteria for Administrative Manager Profile:
Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate easily.
Good writing skills.
Selection Criteria for financial manager profile:
Ability to work easily with numbers, develop budgets, record expenditure (accounting experience a plus)
Sound knowledge of the internal financial systems and procedures of the university
