In support of the initiatives of youth organizations in the community and to promote the dissemination of a culture of knowledge among children, the Department of Physics at our university participated in the International Children’s Exhibition - which was recently organized in Misurata - with a special pavilion to raise awareness and introduce space sciences and the role of physics in this field under the supervision of Professor Al-Abbas Ahmed Andisha, a faculty member in the Physics Department at the Faculty of Science Misurata University.
The pavilion included displays of the planetarium and direct observation of the sun, using telescopes and 3D views of space, and other various activities targeting all age groups and those interested in space, physics and science.
